Atomic City Tool, Inc. is a "leading edge" precision machining operation
specializing in truly close precision tools and machined parts for the Bearing,
Hermetic Motor/Compressor, Electronic, Automotive, Synthetic Fiber, Stamping and Forging
industries. We’re a full service company whose humble beginnings, growth and prosperity
are a perfect example of American entrepreneurship. Robert G. Smith (Bob) started the business in
December 1966 in the "back room" with one employee (himself) and $1500.00. With the belief that
effort and quality workmanship would produce and sustain success, the company was launched.
For more than thirty years we’ve adapted innovation and "state of the art" technological advances
to those fundamental beliefs and that has kept us out front. Now, all those years later, those
guiding principles continue to set benchmarks for quality, workmanship, and service that set us
apart from the rest. In every facet of our operation, attitude is everything and our customers
(we’ll proudly furnish references) will testify that we meet and exceed their needs because we’re
capable and we’re determined to. Our highly-skilled people have a vested interest in our success so
they’re equally committed to yours. We’re very proud of the company we’ve built… but prouder yet of
